WHO WE ARE

DSC_0935.JPG

The Whitewater Student Government is a student-led organization that works to advocate for students and improve life on campus. We strive to make the changes necessary to support students needs in an environment designed to support the curiosity, voice, and individuality of each person. WSG serves all students and places equity, diversity, and inclusion as its top priority. We are the voice for students on campus and off campus in all aspects relating to student life, ranging anywhere from housing to academics to student involvement.

Our weekly meetings are held on Mondays at 7 PM in UC 259, where all students are welcome.

what we do

legislation

WSG senators collaborate on legislation covering a wide range of issues. As one part of shared governance on campus, WSG has the ability to participate in broader conversations about what UW-Whitewater should look like. Legislation is discussed and voted upon at our weekly Senate meetings on Mondays at 7 PM in UC 259 where all are welcome.

student advocacy

WSG focuses on representing and advocating for all students across a variety of issues. Our executive board is always available to address students' concerns, no matter the topic or size of the task. Feel free to contact us regarding any issues you may have.

Programming

Throughout both the fall and spring semesters, WSG organizes and collaborates on several campus-wide events. A few areas include sexual assault prevention and sustainability. To get involved with these events or learn more about our events, explore our social media or contact us.
