Davin Robert Stavroplos has been a dedicated member of the Whitewater Student Government for four years, serving as Senator, Deputy Speaker, Speaker, and President. During his tenure, Mr. Stavroplos led the Senate through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and advocated for various policies that improved the student experience at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. As President, he championed the Student Life Advancement Act, ensuring equal access to university services. Mr. Stavroplos always prioritized public service and served with integrity and distinction. The Whitewater Student Government expresses gratitude for his invaluable contributions and honors him as a President Emeritus.

Maxwell Servais

Maxwell Servais has been an outstanding leader in the Whitewater Student Government, serving in multiple roles including Vice-President of the Student Body. He has shown dedication and hard work in building a successful executive team that has served the students of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with diligence and poise. Max has consistently uplifted those around him, displaying undaunted spirit and unwavering determination. Despite the challenges of college life and student governance, Max has tackled his responsibilities with enthusiasm, setting an extraordinary example of Warhawk leadership. His exceptional service to the students has earned him the Executive Board Member of the Year Award, a distinction that no other Vice-President has received before.

William M. Hinz

William Hinz served honorably in several roles including as Senator, Director of Intergovernmental Affairs, Director of Student Affairs, and most notably as President of the Student Body. He demonstrated exemplary service in various roles and accomplishments during his time in the organization including implementing the first UW-Whitewater Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Summit, creating an on-campus polling place during COVID with increased safety, was part of the transition allowing the HawkCard to serve as a Wisconsin Voter ID, and supported the WSG Student Advancement Act initiation. In recognition of his outstanding leadership, character, and dedication to students, the Whitewater Student Government honors William Hinz and bestows upon him the title of President Emeritus.

Ethan R. Hoeppner
2021
Ethan Hoeppner has been an active member of the Whitewater Student Government for four years, with his most notable role being the Director of Student Affairs in the 2019-2020 academic year. He was awarded the 2020-2021 Wyman Distinguished Student Leader Award for his dedication to serving students. Throughout his time in the student government, Hoeppner has been a strong advocate for students and an exemplary leader to his colleagues. He championed the Pronoun Project, which allowed students to affirm their identities with the university and worked to create an excused absence policy for students while advancing conversations around mental health training for faculty, staff, and students.

David R. McNeilly

David Russell McNeilly has dedicated four years of his collegiate career to serving as a Senator and two-term Director of Academic Affairs in the Whitewater Student Government. He has been a strong advocate for students, assisting them with academic issues and concerns. Mr. McNeilly's kindness and compassion have fostered a sense of belonging among all Warhawks. He has also contributed to the academic success of students by working on policies related to Final Exam retakes, Excused Absences, and LEAP initiatives. As the WSG liaison to the Higher Learning Commission Accreditation Process, he played a crucial role. Additionally, Mr. McNeilly served on search and screening committees for the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enrollment and Retention and Chief Human Resource Officer positions, making a significant impact on those roles to benefit students.

​​Isabelle Cartwright served exemplary as Clerk for the Whitewater Student Government supporting two successive administrations. She presided over two elections for the Whitewater Student Government as Chair of the Elections Committee and diligently ensured that the records of the organization were precise and thorough. She also reviewed decades of records to create an archive of previous Whitewater Student Government Officers for future use of the organization. She was an ideal public servant through the dedication to students, her work, and those she had served beside. Her exceptional service to the students and organization has earned her Emeritus status, a distinction that no other clerk or woman had received before.

Laura E. Dobke has been a transformative leader in the Whitewater Student Government, holding several key roles including At-Large Senator, Associate Director of Communications, and Director of Communications. Her nearly two-year tenure was marked by tireless advocacy, creative vision, and a steadfast commitment to student representation. Laura led a complete revitalization of WSG’s digital presence, establishing cohesive branding and dramatically expanding the organization's social media reach. She served as Chair of the Public Relations Committee and represented students on the Chancellor’s Committee for Mental Health, showcasing her passion for wellness and student voice. Known for her commitment to inclusivity, she made repeated efforts to uplift students at the Rock County campus through active engagement and advocacy. Beyond WSG, Laura brought her leadership and creativity to roles across campus. Her excellence has been recognized with multiple Lucy Baker Involvement Awards, Dean’s List honors, and as the recipient of the James R. Connor Leadership Award and Grant. In recognition of her profound impact, Laura Dobke has been named the first ever Director of Communications Emeritus—a lasting tribute to her exceptional legacy of service, communication, and Warhawk leadership.
Jordyn Robinson is a dedicated advocate and leader who has served as the Director of Student Affairs for the Whitewater Student Government (WSG), where he passionately amplified student voices and worked to implement initiatives that fostered positive change on campus. Inspired by Nelson Mandela’s belief that "the difference we make in the lives of others defines the significance of our own," Jordyn utilized his platform to be a beacon of hope and inspiration for his community.
During his tenure, Jordyn cultivated meaningful relationships with peers and mentors, embodying the collaborative spirit necessary to drive impactful progress.
Jordyn believes deeply in the transformative power of service, a value instilled by Muhammad Ali’s reminder that “service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.” His work with WSG reflects a commitment to fostering unity, creating opportunities for growth, and empowering students to feel seen and valued.
As Jordyn transitions to new opportunities, he carries forward the lessons and memories from his time in WSG. He remains steadfast in his mission to inspire others to lead with empathy, boldness, and purpose, guided by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s enduring message: “Everybody can be great because everybody can serve.” Jordyn’s leadership legacy is one of advocacy, progress, and hope.

Charles E. Kudy JR.
2020
Charles E. Kudy Jr. has made a significant impact during his tenure in the WSG, serving as a four-term senator, parliamentarian, and as one of the longest serving Speakers of the Senate in the history of the WSG. Outside of the WSG, Charles E. Kudy Jr. served as President of the Interfraternity Council and President of the Delta Chi Fraternity, serving students in multiple facets. He was instrumental in the formation of the Parking Oversight Committee as well as the formation of the Greek Housing Exemption policy to the benefit of students across multiple communities on the UW-Whitewater campus. Charles E. Kudy Jr. persistently advocated on behalf of students in matters concerning the Segregated University Fee Allocation Committee and the budgets regarding student organizations. He has had a profound impact on the lives of his colleagues and fellow students through his dedication, passion, and leadership.​

Austin J. May
2021
Austin May served as a Whitewater Student Government Senator for three and a half terms and as Parliamentarian for one semester. He consistently prioritized the interests of the student body and served as their advocate throughout his four years. In 2018, May produced and published presidential addresses and other online content to connect the student body with the student government. May was also a mentor to many generations of senators and demonstrated through courage and perseverance that every senator has the capacity to affect change in the Warhawk community. The Whitewater Student Government recognizes May's outstanding service to students and leadership, as well as his commitment to servant leadership.

Justin D. Wesolek
2023
Justin Daniel Wesolek has dedicated himself to serving the student body in various roles in the Whitewater Student Government, including as a Senator, Director of Academic Affairs, and Speaker of the Senate. As Director of Academic Affairs, he championed the satisfactory/no credit emergency revision during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic while ensuring student representation in shared governance. He also served on the State of Wisconsin Higher Educational Aids Board and worked to enshrine Dr. Roger J. Pulliam's legacy on campus. Mr. Wesolek was a leading advocate for the Student Life Advancement Act and served on the President's Advisory Committee on Disability Issues. His collegiate career was dedicated to serving others and improving the campus, setting an outstanding example of Warhawk Excellence.

Tiene la intención de asistir a UW-Madison y obtener su MaestrÃa en PolÃticas Públicas o Administración de Salud Pública, asà como su Doctorado en Jurisprudencia. ¡Ella no puede esperar para servir a los estudiantes de UWW este año!
