President Douglas A. Bradley III is a Senior pursuing a B.S. in Public Policy and Administration at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater. Now in his second term as Student Body President, Doug is only the fifth student in the university’s history to serve two terms and, alongside Vice President Parker Boehm, leads the first-ever two-term administration.
As Chief Executive of the Whitewater Student Government, Doug serves as the principal representative of the student body within the shared governance framework, working closely with university administration, faculty, and external stakeholders. He oversees a team of student leaders dedicated to advancing student interests across a wide range of areas, including academic policy, student affairs, and equity initiatives. Doug’s tenure has been marked by numerous fruitful accomplishments in campus governance. In April 2025, he was elected to a second term following a months-long, inclusive campaign that engaged hundreds of students across campus. That same year, he authored and championed legislation recommitting the university to shared governance at the UW-Whitewater Rock County campus. He also led negotiations with the Chancellor’s Cabinet regarding the implementation of a centralized “One Stop Shop” for student services. Doug also serves as a student representative on the UW-Whitewater Foundation, providing insight on philanthropic strategy and student needs.
Originally from Lisle, Illinois, Doug is a longtime community volunteer and currently serves on the board of the Lisle Partners for Parks Foundation, where he has logged over 1,500 service hours since 2018. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, attending football games, and proudly cheering on the Warhawks.
Doug is honored to continue serving the students of UW-Whitewater and remains deeply committed to strengthening the institution through student-driven leadership and collaborative governance.
